Fred Gatty is the founder and principal consultant at Gatts Consulting, bringing over 15 years of leadership experience to help organizations align people, purpose, and performance. His work sits at the intersection of strategy and humanity, where culture transformation actually happens.

Whether working with C-suite executives, emerging leaders, or entire organizations, Fred’s approach is rooted in a fundamental belief: people aren’t just part of the business—they are the business. This conviction shapes his work in leadership development, executive coaching, organizational effectiveness, and culture change.

Fred holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Richmond, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from George Washington University, and is completing his Ed.D. in Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University (expected 2026). But he’s quick to remind clients that his real education comes from the trenches—from leading through crisis, rebuilding broken cultures, and coaching leaders through their most difficult transitions.

Beyond consulting, Fred extends his reach as a speaker at regional and national conferences and as host of The Leadership Code podcast, where he explores what it really takes to lead in today’s complex organizations.
